By Road
From the south
- The turn-off to the Mkhuze Game Reserve is signposted 3km (1.86 miles) north of Hluhluwe
- From this point, the road becomes gravel. About 15km (9.32 miles) further on, turn right at the signpost onto another road through the Lebombo Mountains
- The route is clearly signposted to the entrance of the reserve which is 10km (6.2 miles) along this road
From the north
Visitors should take the road through Mkuze Village, which is 18km (11.18 miles) from the entrance gate and 28km (17.3 miles) from Mantuma camp. This route is well signposted
