Children at Thanda Safari
The Bucks and Bugs Kids Club welcomes children with a great kit bag full of interesting information, things to do and a cool beaded membership badge. The club includes tasty kid’s meals and a bedtime story over milk and Chef’s cookies. Children at Thanda will find plenty to do in the library which has books, videos and DVDs, games and puzzles.
The Junior Ranger Programme is really exciting and offers kids a fun educational course compiled by a ranger, to complete during their stay. On game drives with their ranger and tracker, kids will be taught about different mammals, birds, trees, spoor and even stars. At the end of their stay, they will be asked questions by their ranger. On passing, they will be awarded a special certificate identifying them as a junior ranger, and given a small graduation present.
