Mokala National Park is a top choice for nature-enthusiasts seeking their next wilderness escape in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.
Mokala National Park accommodation features a solid range of different accommodation types. The main ones to consider include, Lilydale Rest Camp, Haak-en-Steek, Mosu Lodge, and Motswedi Campsite which we’ve outlined in a nutshell below:
As for Mokala National Park campsites, Motswedi has some really great ones featuring a solar/gas powered kitchen and private ablutions so you’ll never need to queue when nature calls.

If you're keen to keep it rustic, Haak & Steek offers a 4-sleeper cottage fit for families as well as campsites overlooking a wildlife-rich waterhole.
The cottages have 1 bedroom with 2 single beds as well as an en-suite bedroom with a double bed. There is a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen with a gas stove and oven, plus a braai area with solar-powered lights. Haak en Steek is perfect for family getaways.

If you’re looking for that classic safari-style chalet at Mokala National Park, try Lilydale Rest Camp located in the northern section of the park alongside the Riet River. There is also a swimming pool for guests to enjoy.
Lilydale Rest Camp offers accommodation in Bungalows and Chalets. The self-catering air-conditioned bungalows have a bathroom with shower and mini kitchenette with a hotplate and fridge.

Mosu Lodge in Mokala National Park has 15 air-conditioned, fully equipped Bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and an outside braai facility. The Self Catering Bungalows have a fully equipped kitchen.
Due to the camp layout vehicles are not premitted to be parked next to the Bungalows. Guests will need to park in front of Mosu Lodge reception area (baggage trollies are provided)
There is also a swimming pool where you can cool down in the summer months.
