Guests can fly directly into Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route, South Africa from the gateway cities of the country and in a few minutes find themselves enjoying a refreshing drink before exploring the reserve in custom built open vehicles or on horseback, this is the largest reserve in the southern Cape.

All the game rangers at Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve are professional, experienced and friendly, happy to share their knowledge out on the reserve, over a drink in the bar, or while they prepare a delicious barbeque next to the fireplace.

The reserve has 4 of the Big Five game, Elephant, Lion, Rhino and Buffalo, the resident leopard is not often seen - all this amongst a host of plains game including Wildebeest, Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Zebra and a wide variety of antelope species, also Hippo and Crocodile. There are many smaller animals too such as the Honeybadger.
