Guests can also fly direct to Eastgate Airport, located minutes from the Kapama Game Reserve. A Kapama 4x4 vehicle will transfer you to and from the airport at no extra charge.
Directions from Johannesburg
Take the N1/N4 from Johannesburg via Witbank and Middleburg towards Nelspruit.
Turn left on the R540 towards Belfast.
In centre of town turn right (there will be a Total garage on your left hand side then) to Dullstroom and then on to Lydenburg.
Pass through Lydenburg taking the R36 to Ohrigstad, through the Strijdom Tunnel to Hoedspruit.
Once through Hoedspruit, turn right at the T-junction onto the R40 to Klaserie / Bushbuck Ridge.
Continue along the R40 (past the Eastgate Airport turn off, don’t turn left) until you reach the River Lodge Main gate on your left hand side.
