Situated just 48km to the west of the Kruger National Park, Kapama Buffalo Camp is situated in the Kapama Game Reserve in South Africa.
Kapama Private Game Reserve comprises of 13 000 hectares of undisturbed bushveld where a multitude of animal, plant and birdlife reveals the essence of the Valley of the Olifants.
There are 2 scheduled daily flights from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport which is only 10 minutes drive from the entrance of Kapama Private Game Reserve. There also a direct flight from Cape Town which takes 2 hours 40 minutes.
Take the N1/N4 from Johannesburg via Witbank and Middleburg towards Nelspruit.
Turn left on the R540 towards Belfast.
In centre of town turn right (there will be a Total garage on your left hand side then) to Dullstroom and then on to Lydenburg.
Pass through Lydenburg taking the R36 to Ohrigstad, through the Strijdom Tunnel to Hoedspruit.
Once through Hoedspruit, turn right at the T-junction onto the R40 to Klaserie / Bushbuck Ridge.
Continue along the R40 (past the Eastgate Airport turn off, don’t turn left) until you reach the Buffalo Camp Main gate on your left hand side.
