Camdeboo National Park is located in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province in the Little Karoo and surrounds the town of Graaff-Reinet.

Four main routes culminate at the centre of Graaff Reinet which you can also use to access Camdeboo National Park.

If you’re making the trip up from Cape Town, you’ll clock a total of 600km along the N1 to Beaufort West. If you are coming in from Port Elizabeth, the distance is 250km along the R75. You can also reach the park along the R61 to Aberdeen and the N9 to Graaf-Reinet. If you want the quickest route possible, we’d suggest flying into Port Elizabeth Airport from where we can arrange a private transfer or car hire for you.

The network roads in Camdeboo National Park are a mix of tar and gravel which you can tackle with a standard vehicle, however, you will need a higher clearance for sightseeing along the Diepkloof and Koedoeskloof 4x4 trails.
