Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve surrounded by 1,000 hectares of lush green vegetation and rolling grasslands sit high up on a hill. This blissfully isolated position is far away from the crowds and offers the most magnificent views of those sweeping white beaches that the Eastern Cape safari circuit is so well-known for.
You'll find your journey there (and back) an easy feat and, not to mention, incredibly scenic. There are two ways to get there, and that is to fly into either the city of Port Elizabeth or East London, from where we can help you hire a car. It's an enjoyable journey from either point of entry and takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Don't miss the Oceana signs; it's pretty easy to get distracted by those delightful coastal scenes and sprawling isiXhosa homesteads.
