To get to this KwaZulu-Natal nature reserve in South Africa, visitors will need to travel by car north from Durban on the N2 Highway. Take the Mt Edgecombe / Umhlanga turn-off and turn left towards Mt Edgecombe. Follow this road and ignore the turn-off to Ottawa, Mt Edgecombe and Verulam. You will pass under an arched bridge, take the first turn to the left after the bridge, from there the road to the Hazelmere Dam and Resort is well sign posted.
