Imfolozi Game Reserve accommodation consists of various self-catering units, tented camps and luxury safari lodges. Some camps have their own cook, who can prepare an array of delicious meals, and a resident field guide. All the Imfolozi accommodation is well equipped and located in tranquil surroundings. Limited supplies of food and drink can be purchased at the shop at Mpila Camp.Mpila Camp:Mpila offers central Imfolozi Game Reserve accommodation with magnificent views of the Wilderness area. Curios, cool drinks, camera film and petrol can be purchased from the Mpila Camp Shop, but there are no provisions or restaurant facilities provided.Rest HutsTwelve single-room thatched rest huts can accommodate 4 people each. There is a communal self-catering kitchen and well equipped ablution blocks.Safari Tented CampThis camp has 7 two-bed and 2 four-bed units, all en-suite, with electricity, barbeque facilities and a verandah. There is an optional third bed, which is available in each tent on request. A fully equipped kitchen and dining area is connected to each tent by a wooden boardwalk.CottagesMpila Camp also has 2 self-contained 3-bedroomed cottages sleeping 7 people each. A cook is on hand to prepare food supplied by guests.ChaletsFor smaller groups, there are also 6 self-catering chalets sleeping 5 in each. These comprise of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and a lounge/ dining room.Masinda Lodge:This luxury and secluded Imfolozi Game Reserve lodge in KwaZulu-Natal can accommodate 6 people in 3 en-suite bedrooms. Masinda lodge is fully self-contained and there is a cook and an assistant in attendance to prepare the food guests bring and service the lodge.Gqoyeni Bush Lodge:This bush lodge offers great game viewing opportunities and is elevated on a peninsula overlooking the confluence of the Black Imfolozi River and Gqoyeni Stream. There are 4 two-bed units, all with en-suite shower and toilet, linked by wooden walkways to a central living area. A cook is available to prepare food supplied by guests, and a field ranger conducts walks into the surrounding bushveld.Hlatikulu Bush Lodge:The lodge in the heart of the reserve, is set on a terrace overlooking the Black Imfolozi River. Resident White Rhino and Hippo can be viewed from the deck as they emerge from the bush to drink at the river. The 4 two-bed units each with en-suite shower and toilet are linked by wooden walkways to a central living area. A cook is available to prepare food supplied by guests, and a field ranger conducts walks into areas seldom seen by other visitors.Nselweni Bush Camp:This rustic but very comfortable Imfolozi accommodation is offered at Nselweni Bush camp, which is located on the banks of the Black Imfolozi River. This bush camp comprises of 4 two-bed units, a communal ablution unit, an open plan lounge / dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A cook is available to prepare food supplied by guests, and a field ranger conducts walks into the Wilderness area.Mndindini Tented CampSituated in Imfolozi's Wilderness area, Mndindini Tented Bush Camp has 10 beds. It is available from December-February only as it acts as a base camp for Wilderness Trails from March-November.
