Samara Karoo Lodge
This Samara Karoo Reserve accommodation in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, offers comfortable accommodation in 10 Suites situated on the homestead with spectacular views over the mountain landscape - ideal for a romantic getaway or for families travelling with children. Karoo Lodge can also be booked on an exclusive-use basis for up to 24 guests.
The 8 Karoo Suites are standalone suites located a short distance from the main homestead. These suites each have a fireplace, air-conditioning and luxury en-suite bathroom with large separate bath, shower and 2 washbasins. They open onto a private patio and also have outdoor nature showers.
The 2 Family Suites are located a little further away near the waterhole, which attracts birds and wildlife. These 2-bedroom suites are inter-leading and provide ideal accommodation for families with young children. Each suite has a shower, basin and air-conditioning. There is a communal lounge and outdoor patio.

The Manor at Samara
The 5-star Manor at Samara Karoo Reserve is surrounded by majestic mountains. The Manor has 4 suites (2 King Suites and 2 Twin Suites) that can be booked individually or for the exclusive use of up to 8 guests, offering complete privacy plus a personal ranger, chef and butler who will see to everything.
The luxurious air-conditioned suites at this Eastern Cape accommodation boast beautiful views over the Karoo mountain landscape. The interiors feature a unique warm design which reflects the local landscape and traditions with a contemporary twist.
Each suite has an en-suite bathroom with a free standing bath and separate shower. Dining experiences at this Samara Karoo Reserve accommodation can be arranged in different settings around the house and in the bush.
The infinity pool descends into a natural water hole where wildlife comes to drink in the early morning and late afternoon. Children under 14 are not permitted at The Manor at Samara unless it has been booked exclusively.

Plains Camp at Samara
With a focus on off-the-grid luxury, 8 guests are welcomed inside 4 luxurious tents for a distinctive explorer-style experience at Samara Plains Camp. This unassuming eco-conscious Plains Camp, which is situated in a remote area of the Samara Game Reserve with breathtaking views and an abundance of animals, including the Big Five, lets the scenery speak for itself and offers visitors a tranquil retreat from the stresses of daily life.
