Tswalu Kalahari is South Africa’s largest private game reserve and home to rare game such as Desert Black Rhino, Kalahari Lion, Cheetah and Roan Antelope. This 100 000 ha malaria-free Northern Cape game reserve is home to 230 species of birds and 70 species of mammals.

The Motse (the main lodge), includes 8 exclusive “legae” (Tswana word for small houses/suites), which are unique in design. Curved stone and desert sand walls are enclosed by organic shaped grass roofs that dip to the ground providing shade and sculpted beauty. Tarkuni is the second lodge on this Northern Cape game reserve in the Kalahari and is available for exclusive use only. This lodge has 5 luxury rooms for up to 10 guests.
