This conference facility can accommodate a maximum of 80 delegates in cinema style, 40 delegates in classroom style and 24 delegates in U-shape. Activities at Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve

Guests on a South Africa safari holiday can enjoy bush breakfasts and picnics and superb dinners or barbeques in the open-air restaurant under the Milky Way. There are day and night game drives that go in search of Bontebok, Ostrich, Zebra, Springbok, Black Wildebeest, Gemsbok/Oryx and numerous other antelope species, including the majestic Eland and of course nocturnal animals such as the Leopard.

Other options include quad biking and hiking trails and scenic sunset drives to the Ceres Karoo Escarpment with snacks and sundowners included. Explorations of the 6000 year old Bushman rock art take place on the culture tours with a knowledgeable guide.

Stargazing

See the stars and planets closer than ever thought possible at the Mini-Observatory at Kagga Kamma. The resident expert ensures the best views of the night sky through a 10 inch telescope for close ups of the moon, planets and other deep space objects.

4x4 Route

Rustic campsites are provided en-route for those setting off on this adventure. This is a great opportunity to discover the area during a South Africa safari holiday. On a clear day the trail offers wonderful views over the vast stretches of the Karoo and majestic mountains and valleys of the famed Cederberg. Encounter some of the rare reptiles and birds of the area maybe game. Booking is essential for this trail.

The route is more than 100km long (62 miles) in total and it is best to travel together with another vehicle. Usually one night is sufficient but guests can stay for longer on the route. From Kagga Kamma reception, the route slowly descends from 3800 feet (1158 metres) above sea level to 1200 feet (365 metres) in the Ceres Karoo, it is mostly quite relaxing but there are a few very steep sections.

Quad Bike Safaris

Enjoy a quad bike safari and see parts of the reserve otherwise unaccessible and enjoy the excitment of riding your own quad bike. Options of 1 or 2 hour excursions done on request.

Spring Flowers

From the middle of August to the middle of November, Kagga Kamma Private Nature Reserve is covered with a blanket of beautiful flowers a paradise for nature lovers and botanists.
