The en-suite accommodation at Bushmen Lodge is supported by a Hybrid Power System of both diesel generator and solar power, providing electricity from early morning to just before midnight; 24-hour electricity can be arranged at an additional cost.Bushmen LodgeBushmen Lodge offers a choice of Cederberg accommodation, either in five spacious en-suite thatched rondavels that are suitable for families and children, or in ten unique and special 'cave suites' built against the Sandstone rocks harmoniously blending into the surrounding landscape. The cave suites boast private terraces, en suite bathrooms and a king-size bed or twin beds.
The lodge features a restaurant for wholesome breakfasts and lunches and a wonderful outdoor lapa (enclosure) for dinner under the stars. A convivial bar area and a tranquil garden offers the ideal respite. Interesting rock formations adorn the pool area, and a well stocked curio shop offers a great range of souvenirs.Outcrop Open Air CampSituated on a rocky outcrop far from the lodge, guests can experience the thrill of a unique 'down on the ground' luxury sleep out under African stars. A beautiful soft bed in the bush is a most romantic way to be lulled to sleep by the tranquil sounds of nature all around.
Whilst checked into the Bushman Lodge, guests can choose to sleep outside, weather permitting. Guests have the choice of enjoying a succulent picnic basket for dinner at Outcrop, or enjoying dinner at the lodge and then going to the camp afterwards.Rest CampThe Rest Camp at this Western Cape nature resserve in South Africa offers spacious 3 bed-roomed chalets for either 6 or 8 people each. This accommodation option at Kagga Kamma is perfect for families enjoying longer stays. All rooms have 1½ or 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor braai/fireplace and a private outside boma (outdoor fireplace).
