Otters Den is a River Lodge on a 50 hectare island in the Blyde River at the bottom of the canyon near the Orpen gate to Kruger National Park. The camp accommodates a group of up to 10 guests comfortably in five chalets. The chalets are combination stone / thatch / canvas with timber decks on stilts, overlooking the river. The central lodge is where the meals are served and there is a dining room, timber deck, bar, barbeque area, TV lounge and plunge pool.
A field guide takes guests on excursions through the indigenous forest and woodlands rich with abundant flora and fauna.
