Kololo Game Reserve offers a variety of Waterberg accommodation with a tented camp, and upmarket chalets in private and peaceful settings - some with their own pools and kitchens. The facilities available for self-catering include oven, micro-wave oven, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and cutlery.

This serviced Waterberg accommodation is available on a full board basis or guests can arrange their own meals with the facilities provided. There are play areas for children although the main lodge pool is for adults only. Kololo has a number of venues available for an intimate African wedding, indoors or outdoors, even on the mountain! The Bridal couple can rest assured of personal attention and service.

Tented Camp:

For an authentic bush experience! The tents are spacious and equipped to sleep 2 people in comfort with 12 people altogether. There are hot showers and modern ablution facilities. Meals can be enjoyed under the stars in camp, around a fire in the boma (outdoor enclosure), or in the thatched roof kitchen area.

Garden Chalets:

Surrounded by acacia trees and lovely lawns, these 3 chalets each sleep 2 and have an open-plan living / sleeping area with and en-suite bathroom. There is a veranda with an open-plan kitchen and garden barbeque.

Bush Chalets:

Bushbuck and Impala can often be seen grazing around these hidden bush chalets in the early morning. Each chalet sleeps 2 and has an open-plan living / sleeping area with en-suite bathroom. There is also an outside shower and self-contained kitchen. These 3 chalets are close to the main lodge pool and restaurant.

King’s and Queen’s Chalets:

These luxurious lodges are set against the Kololo Mountains and have uninterrupted views over the plains and the neighbouring reserve, home to Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Buffalo and other wildlife.

Both lodges have large living areas with TV, open-plan fully equipped kitchens and terraces. King’s Chalet has 3 double en-suite bedrooms, a television, private swimming pool and a boma with barbeque facilities. Queen’s Chalet has one large double bedroom with en-suite facilities including a bath and shower.

Leopard’s Den Chalet:

This 4 double bedroom chalet (3 are en-suite, 1 room with a guest toilet) overlooks rolling lawns and the Kololo Mountains. There is a large terrace and private swimming pool. The chalet is tastefully decorated and has a comfortable and spacious living area with fireplace.

Oom Piet’s Chalet:

A restored 1916 farmhouse, this attractive chalet sleeps 4 in two spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living room and veranda. Guests can relax, enjoy the views and watch the resident Antelope herd grazing.

River Chalets:

Ideal for honeymooners, these luxury thatched chalets overlooking the Kololo River and Mountains are close to the lodge pool and restaurant. Each secluded chalet sleeps 2, has an open-plan living / sleeping area, en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen
