Ubizane Wildlife Reserve offers game drives and horse rides in the magnificent bushveld as well as a variety of external daily excursions to top attractions including the famous Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Park for Big Five sightings. In between exciting Ubizane game-viewing activities, guests and conference delegates can relax at the stylish lodges or around the swimming pools.

Dining at Ubizane Wildlife Reserve:

The wholesome buffet breakfast includes an array of locally grown fresh fruits, yoghurts and health cereals. Lunch is an informal affair as most of the guests are out exploring the area at this time.

After a busy day enjoying Ubizane game-viewing activities, guests can sip sundowners, sit by log fires and soak up the sounds of the bush. Meals are served in the bomas (open air enclosures) in lovely settings like overlooking the lush fever tree forest and the active waterhole.

At Ubizane Wildlife Reserve, delicious pan-African cuisine is served in a buffet style and usually includes a venison dish amongst the choices of meat dishes. When the weather does not allow, meals are served in the restaurant.

Conferences:

Ubizane Wildlife Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, offers full conference facilities for a maximum of 60 delegates in cinema style. Standard equipment includes an overhead projector and screen, a whiteboard, and a flipchart with pens. Team building activities can be tailor made to suit requirements.

Game-viewing at Ubizane

Ubizane Wildlife Sanctuary has numerous game residing in this area. Spot White Rhino, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, most species of antelope and over 450 species of bird. Guests will get the opportunity to view game from the comfort of a state of the art safari vehicle. A unique and different way to explore the area would be by horseback. Game-viewing is usually conducted in the early mornings and late afternoons when it is cooler and the animals are far more active.

Horse riding

Guests can experience the freedom and beauty of the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve on horseback. Whether it’s an early morning romantic ride or a gentle evening ramble through the Ubizane valley, saddling up and venturing through unspoilt lush forests, game and open grasslands is a superb option.
