Ubizane Wildlife Reserve is every nature lover's paradise. This sprawling 1500 hectare reserve is home to over 450 species of bird, as well as a variety of game, including White Rhino, Giraffe, Wildebeest, and most species of antelope. Occasionally, lucky guests might even be able to spot Leopard, Wild Dog and Hyena. As the sun sets over the reserve, a whole new nocturnal world comes alive.
Nocturnal animals found in this area include Serval, Side Striped Jackals, Bushbabies, Honey Badgers, porcupine and the occasional Python. For Big Five game viewing, daily trips to Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve can be arranged. This reserve is renowned for its great Rhino spotting, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, and a great variety of other species.
Hluhluwe Game Reserve is one of the oldest game reserves in South Africa and spans over 97 000 hectares of prime game land.
