Borakalalo National Park accommodation is offered in 2 safari tented camps, one in shady woodland and the other alongside the river and a campsite next to the dam. Guests can enjoy barbeques and self-catered meals in the camps whilst appreciating the sights and sounds of the bush.
Phudufudu Camp at Borakalalo National Park
This Borakalalo National Park accommodation provides the setting for a most unforgettable bushveld experience. This safari tent-camp is tucked away in large natural woodland overlooking a waterhole. The camp has an attractive rock-walled lounge / dining room and patio, a swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen and a conference room seating 10 – 20 people.
Ablution facilities are located near the tents and consist of showers and toilets. The fully-equipped kitchen has crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils, gas oven, a deepfreeze and a fridge. A stretcher for a third person can be requested in the tents.
There are 6 Standard tents on concrete stands equipped with 2 single beds, linen, towels, clothing cupboard, side table and 2 chairs with a cocktail table on the patio. The 4 luxury tents are built on stilts with wooden decks. Each tent has a double bed with linen, en-suite toilet and bath and a fully equipped kitchenette with a bar fridge.
Moretele Camp at Borakalalo National Park
Situated on the banks of the perennial Moretele River. This relaxing rustic camp consists of 10 East African style safari tents and 10 wooded camping sites. No electricity is provided but the tents are equipped with paraffin lanterns. Ablution facilities are located near the tents and consist of showers and toilets.
The tents are constructed on concrete plinths and are equipped with 2 single beds, bedding (a third person can be accommodated on request), a clothing cupboard, food storage cupboard, table and 2 chairs, small fridge and braai (barbeque). Guests need to supply their own towels, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Pitjane Camp at at Borakalalo National Park
This fishing camp at Borakalalo is located on the northern shoreline of the Klipvoor Dam. The campsites do not have electricity and are scattered around the camp. Each has its own braai (barbecue) area and tap. The reed-walled ablutions have flush toilets, hot and cold showers. Pitjane camp attracts mostly fishermen (permits can be purchased at the main gate).
