Guests can enjoy sumptuous Aquila Private Game Reserve accommodation in premier hillside chalets and luxury lodge semis as well as wetlands bush cottages. The Honeymoon Suite has a Jacuzzi and spectacular views.
Premier Luxury Chalets
These chalets are privately situated and have been built into the hillside to feature natural rock in the bathrooms and outdoor showers. This Aquila Private Game Reserve accommodation is constructed from wood, stone and thatch. Each chalet has a fan, air-conditioner, fireplace and patio with excellent views.
The individual en-suite bathrooms are all unique, with twin hand basins, bath and toilet. The Honeymoon Suite is part of the Premier Chalet collection. The bedrooms sleep 2 in a Queen Size bed or Twin beds, while the family unit sleeps 4. All Chalets have tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar and only the best percale linen is used throughout.
Luxury Chalets
These thatched units are semi-detached with attention paid to privacy. The exterior stone work uses raw material from the area. Each chalet has a fan and a “coal” stove. The spacious en suite bathrooms feature corner baths with outdoor showers. There are family units and twin share units. All Chalets have tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar and only the best percale linen is used throughout.
Bush Cottages
These cottages are situated in the actual veldt (open grasslands) of the reserve adjacent to the reserve wetlands. Originally the reserve staff cottages, these have been beautifully restored and equipped with mini bars and fans. They offer uninterrupted views of the reserve and its inhabitants. Each cottage sleeps 2 to 4 guests.
